The Circle Dancers Felted Tote Bag

This one was a really fun time to design. I don't often remember to play with color, being more of a texture oriented person, but it was a nice change. Also, the pattern knits up quite fast as it's done on size 15 needles with worsted weight wool. Here are the notes:

Bag is knit on circular needles (24" to 36" cables) and uses mosaic knitting techniques.
Pattern includes 3 charts.

Yarn: Patons Classic Wool
2 skeins "Black," 2 skeins "Too Teal," 1 skein "That's Pink" or "Leaf Green"

Gauge: 10 sts & 14 Rnds = 4" in Stst using US size 15 (10mm) knitting needles and yarn held double
*Entire bag is worked with yarn doubled.

Finished size approximately 16"x22" pre-felting and 13"x18.5" after felting.

Feng-Huang Socks

They're up! The Feng-Huang (Chinese Phoenix) socks have been test knit, approved, and uploaded. I can't say thank you enough to the wonderful knitters that took the time to look over this pattern. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to the next time.

The Red version is Denali Hand-dyed sock yarn (light fingering weight) from Pagewood Farms. Tan/pink variation is PennyRose sock yarn from www.Fritzl.etsy.com. Pattern requires 2x 24" circular needles in US size 1.5 (2.5mm) or size to obtain gauge (32 sts & 44 rnds = 4"). Includes sizes Medium (Us Womens 7-8.5) and large (US Womens 8.5+). Main portion of pattern is charted.
