Birthday Knits

Since I highly doubt my boyfriend reads my blog, I think it's pretty safe to spill the beans here on a couple new designs......

Tuesday (Nov. 24) is Chris's birthday. Several weeks ago he tried on a hat that I had recently designed and commented on how he liked the fit, but not so much the colors or "cords" (his word for cables) that I had chosen. So, being the "good girlfriend" I decided to design a few hats specially for him. One I chose to do two-toned in Crystal Palace Merino 5, the other is solid in Lana Grossa Pashmina (luxurious!). Once Chris gets the hats (on Monday) I'll be using him as my model for the pattern photos. I'm anticipating having both designs out sometime in early to mid December.

Both new designs are completely unisex. I could just as easily imagine myself wearing these hats, and I actually may make myself one. Right... dream on girl. I never have time to knit for myself any more. Who am I kidding?

P.S........ Stay tuned for some big news on December 1!
